We're Glad You're Here

We believe that the church is the people, and every person
is a beloved child of God, deserving dignity, respect, and love.

What to Expect

Whether you are new to this community or are returning after a time away, we are grateful that you have found St. Boniface. Our aim is to help you feel welcome!

We typically have two morning services on Sunday: 8:00 am and 10:00 am. The Outdoor Chapel and Labyrinth are available for personal prayer and meditation from dawn to dusk. Read more about our weekly services here.

When you arrive for worship service on Sunday, you will be greeted by parishioners serving as greeters and ushers. Before and after the service, they are happy to answer any questions you might have. We encourage visitors to fill out a card at the Greeters Table near the church entrance.

There are several parking areas at the church marked on this Campus Map.  Also, please click here for directions and a map to St. Boniface.

Childcare is provided for children 3 and younger on Sunday mornings from 8:30 to 11:30 am in the Nursery across the courtyard.

Children in Pre-K to 5th grade are welcome to join us on Sundays at 10:00 am. A friendly greeter at the Welcome Table will direct you and your child to the classroom. The children return to their parents in church just before Communion.

We gather in the Parish Hall for informal coffee and refreshments after each service to socialize as well as learn more about our parish life and ministries from other parishioners. Go to our photo gallery archive or read an issue of our newsletter, The Reflection, to get a sense of our congregational life.

The best source for information on all our ministries is here on our website and our Facebook page (Saint Boniface Episcopal Church Siesta Key).

We want you to be comfortable in our community, and will do whatever we can to help you feel welcome here. Feel free to ask questions of anyone you encounter. Above all, please know how glad we are that you are here.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where and when is Sunday morning worship?

We have two services, 8:00am and 10:00am, in our sanctuary at 5615 Midnight Pass Road on Siesta Key. The 10:00 service has choir and music.

  • How can I reach you?

You can fill out your information in-person with a Visitor Card located at the Welcome Table outside the main entrance to the church. We’d love to meet you in person too! Rector Wayne Farrell and Assistant Rector Nikki Seger are usually available after the service.

  • What should I wear?

Come as you are! There is no dress code, and attendees' clothing choices vary widely.

  • Do you celebrate Holy Communion?

At Saint Boniface, we celebrate Holy Communion (the Lord’s Supper, the Eucharist) every week. All baptized Christians of all ages and denominations are invited to receive Communion. Visitors who are not baptized Christians are welcome to come forward during the Communion to receive a blessing from the presider.

  • What do children do on Sundays?

At Saint Boniface Church, we want to engage our children just as much as everyone else. We think kids connecting in worship is important, though we understand of course, that kids engage and learn much differently than teens or adults. We want to provide a safe, educational, and encouraging place for your children when you visit Saint Boniface Church.

To that end, we provide a nursery for infants through age 3. We also have a children’s program using the curriculum, “Weaving God’s Promises”, that we offer for pre-K through 5th grade during the service. The children are returned to their family in the church just before Communion. Of course, children are welcome to stay in the service as well.

  • Where do I park?

There are four entrances from Midnight Pass Road to our ample parking lot. Also, during Christmas and Easter we often open additional parking in a grass lot across Midnight Pass Road.

  • What is the service like?

If you’re a follower of Christ and you come to visit us on a Sunday morning, you’ll experience a worship service rooted in Scripture, and built upon the rich tradition and legacy of the Christian church. We sing a mixture of hymns, songs, psalms and more – both older and newer. We confess our faith using historic creeds and statements. You’ll hear us praying together for one another, our city and our world. We also read the Scriptures together and hear a sermon from them, every week.

What members of

St. Boniface have to say

"I had known about St. Boniface through its reputation and from personal contacts over the years, but we were especially attracted by its liturgy, the preaching, and the music program. We are excited now as well by its commitment to diversity and outreach and by the warmth and friendliness of the congregation."

"My wife and I celebrate St. Boniface as an open Christ-centered inclusive parish that seeks justice and offers forgiveness and God's grace each and every week. We are grateful to be here."

"I smile when I think of St. Boniface. As a spiritual place it is sacred, peaceful, and beautiful. As a community it’s open and friendly, with many ways to be involved if you want to be. It is important to us that our church home is inclusive. Here, we’re all recognized as children of God."
