We are stewards of ...
January ... Time!  A whole new year ahead of us, with all its possibilities, celebrations and to-do’s.  Time seems to rush by, and we are called to be good stewards of this never-renewable resource.  Before penciling anything in, ask yourself:  Is this worthy of my time?  Is it in line with God’s purposes and my values?  Does it bring joy and lasting satisfaction?  As we fill this year’s calendar, let’s do it committing ourselves to spending the gift of time on those things of enduring value.  Then, we can look forward to a year filled with joy, balance and meaning.
Be very careful, then, how you live – not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity... Eph. 5:15-16

February ... Relationships!
It’s easy to get pulled into the chocolates, flowers and hearts of Valentine’s Day.  So, what a good time for us to stop and reflect!  Who are the people close to our hearts all year long?  How can we tend those relationships?  Are there relationships that we need to pare from lives to leave room for healthier, more fulfilling ones?  As we send Valentine sentiments this month, let’s be sure we nurture sustaining relationships, mirroring God’s love.
We love because God first loved us.  1 John 4:19
