GRANTS AWARDED
Since its inception, the Grants Committee has distributed over $400,000 for projects the further Christ's ministry in the world.
2009: Family Parenterhip Center emergency funds to continue the parenting program for the Sarasota Drug Court, St. Boniface Preschool to support the parish's main outreach ministry, and a final disbtribution of funds raised for Casa Ave Maria, a children's rescue and training program in Nicaragua.

Our July Giving Tree supported Healthy Families, a program of the Florida Center for Child and Family Development, working to stem abuse and neglect in at-risk families in our community. We collected supply-filled backpacks --70 of them!-- for kindergarteners in the program as they headed off to their first day of school.
