OUR DEDICATED STAFF:

Ms. Marge, a native of New Jersey, has over 20 years of experience working with young children at Saint Boniface Preschool.  She has a BA degree in Therapeutic Recreation with a minor in Special Education.  She earned her Child Development Specialist Certificate from the Sarasota County Technical Institute.  She is currently working with our 3 year old class and has experience working with toddlers and 2 year olds.  Ms. Marge has wonderful insights working with children being especially sensitive to their needs providing comfort and trust.

Ms. Connie was born in Italy and raised in Queens and Long Island, New York.  After moving to Sarasota, she decided to focus on young children and earned her Child Development Specialist Certificate from the Sarasota County Technical Institute.  Of her 14 years in education, 10 have been spent here at Saint Boniface Preschool.  She is currently serving in our VPK classroom.  She is on the Advisory Committee for SCTI’s Apprenticeship Committee.  Connie loves helping children enjoy the thrills of nature and science.

Ms. Kat was born and raised in Missouri and grew up on a small livestock farm.  She worked as a nurse’s assistant and a child care assistant in the Mid-West.  She has a Child Development Associate Certificate and has worked at Saint Boniface Preschool for 14 years.  She is currently teaching children in our Voluntary Prekindergarten(VPK) program.  She brings tremendous creativity to her classroom providing children with unique and exciting activities.

Ms. Nataliya, is a native of the Ukraine and moved to the United States in the mid-1990s.   She has been working with young children at Saint Boniface for the last eleven years.  She earned her Child Development Associate Certificate and has been a toddler teacher for the last three years.  She provides her children with a wonderfully structured classroom environment filled with order and affection.

Ms. Roseanne, a native of New Jersey, has been working at Saint Boniface Preschool for the last 14 years.  She earned a BA degree in Communications from William Patterson University and a Child Development Associate Certificate from Sarasota County Technical Institute.  She is currently working with our 3 year old class and has experience with young toddlers and two year olds.  She loves working with children and can’t imagine working in another field.  Ms. Roseanne is a valued member of our teaching staff who brings a true sense of caring for her students.

Ms. Sherry, a native of Arkansas, is a former student and employee of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.  Sherry discovered her love for children in 1994, when she began working win the preschool fitness and nutrition fields.  Her husband's career in higher education led them to San Diego, CA, Maryville, MO and ultimately to Sarasota in 2004.  In San Diego, Sherry served as the Preschool Fitness Director for Gold's Gyms, and in Missouri, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Recreation and Wellness from Northwest Missouri State University.  Sherry's hobbies include boating, biking and many other outdoor activities with her family, husband Lance, and children Chase, Halen and Malia.

Dr. Richard Aubry has earned a M.Ed. in Elementary School Administration and an Ed.D. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Virginia.  He has taught at the elementary level, served as an Elementary and Middle School Principal, a Director of Instruction, and an Assistant Superintendent in the public sector.  He has taught graduate and undergraduate early childhood courses at the University of Virginia and Longwood University.  Dr. Aubry has also served as a Regional Coordinator for the internationally recognized early childhood education rating scales.  He has directed numerous child care centers in Virginia and Florida and has been a presenter at several early childhood conferences throughout the United States. 

Rev. Andrea Taylor is Associate Rector of St. Boniface and Chaplain of the Preschool.  She has 15 years experience with young people in church schools and youth groups, and 10 years of training as a Montessori religious educator through Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.  She shares her fun and prayerful presence in our Friday Chapel time. 

  Mr. Seth Wertz is the Minister of Music for Saint Boniface, and before that was teaching music in the public schools.  He is honored to volunteer his time and talent every week to the Saint Boniface Preschool.
