A Peace Pole was dedicated on February 29, 2008, as a symbol of our commitment to work toward peace and justice for all peoples of the earth. We are reminded each time we see the Peace Pole to offer a prayer for world peace. The eight languages on the pole each say "May Peace prevail on earth", reminding us to send this wish to all countries with their individual languages. The Peace and Justice Committee invites you and your friends to come spend time at our Peace Pole and to hold a prayer for peace in your heart.
