Beyond the Broken Heart is a ministry for the grieving to find comfort and solace.  Loss is experienced by everyone.  We speak of losing the one we love, our jobs or our health.  We all experience grief at some time or many times in our lives. Grief has no time limit; our loss may have been years ago or very recently. Grief however, is so personal that it often feels lonely and isolating.

Beyond the Broken Heart is a program using a small group format, scripture and sharing to assist people through the grieving process. Beyond the Broken Heart is neither grief counselling nor is it group therapy; it is however a way through sharing and prayer that the pain and solitude of grief is made bearable.

The Rev. Tom Kearney and Rita Piovane will co-facilitate the group which will meet on the first and third Sundays of the month in the Crediton Room beginning on October 7, following the 10 am service .
