Thanks to your prayers and financial support, our young people will serve on two mission trips. We have reached our fundraising goal for our trips thanks to gifts from the Artenzio D'Orio memorial fund, and the kind people who wrote checks when we got rained out of beach parking on the Fourth of July.
On July 24, five adult chaperones will lead 22 students to a Group Workcamps event in Rochester, NY. One of our own parishioners, Dyson Gay, will host them their first night at Church of the Ascension, before they spend a week living in a public high school with youth groups from around the country. The Saint Boniface community is all around!!
On August 6, Diego DelToro, Dianne Kaiyoorawongs, Tony Neubroch, Garrett Rogers, Chris Rollins, Andi Taylor, and Noah Taylor will head to Honduras to deepen our relationship with the schools of El Hogar, an Episcopal ministry for children ages 5-20. This year we will serve at the agriculture school an hour away from the capital city Tegucigalpa.
