Wonderful Wednesdays are back!
Join us for worship at 5:30 p.m. (in the Church), social time and catered dinner at 6:00 in the Community Center, (for dinner, please call 941-349-5616 x5 by noon the Tuesday before for reservations, $10pp), then programs after dinner.  Our line-up of guest speakers includes those from organizations where St. Boniface grants are touching lives and transforming our community:
October 22 - Becky Taylor of Resurrection House
October 29 - Mandy O’Malley of Take Stock in Children
November 5 - Jenna Jones of All Faiths Food Bank
November 12 - Giving Thanks Potluck
 
 
Concert - Music for Harp & Flute
Ann Hobson Pilot, former principal harp of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, together with Leone Buyse, Professor of flute at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music and former principal flutist with Boston Symphony Orchestra. In the wonderful acoustic of St Boniface Church, these two outstanding musicians will present a varied program including works by Bizet, Fauré, Donizetti, Telemann, Pierné and others. Not to be missed! Tickets are only $10, available in the Church Office or online here.  Sunday, October 26, 4 p.m.

BLOOD DRIVE   A half hour of your time can mean the gift of life – literally! -- for someone in our community.  Donating the gift of life is quick, simple, and (generally) painless.  So, roll up your sleeves at our drive for Suncoast Communities Blood Bank!  You need to be in good health, over 17 years old and weigh more than 110 pounds.  To schedule your time and avoid long waits, sign up at Coffee Hour. Child care is available 9:00-11:30 for donors. Sunday, October 26, 8:30 – 12:30, in the church parking lot.  For info contact the church office (941-349-5616).
 
Gabriel Faure Requiem for All Souls

Join us on All Souls Day for a special gathering of music and prayers in remembrance of loved ones.  The St. Boniface choirs and organists join with harp and string musicians from the Sarasota Orchestra to perform Fauré’s beautiful “Mass for the Dead.”  Prayers and candle-lighting will be offered for those who wish to remember loved ones.  Sunday, November 2, 6 p.m.
