Advent Procession ~ November 30

The perfect way to start the Advent Season is at this lovely, traditional service of music and readings proclaiming the prophecies of the coming of Christ. An Advent antiphon is sung before each reading culminating in bringing them all together in the great Advent hymn "O come, O come, Emmanuel.”  Sunday, November 30, 6 p.m.

Newman & Oltman Guitar Duo
St. Boniface Church hosts a special concert program by the acclaimed Newman & Oltman Guitar Duo, celebrating the rich musical tradition of the Christmas season. The program includes music from their best-selling CD, A Christmas Pastorale - 600 Years of Carols, Chorales, Preludes & Pastorales For Two Guitars. Featuring music from the Renaissance, Baroque, and Classical eras, the program includes a wonderful variety of Christmas music, little-known gems, and variations on familiar themes, composed by Bach, Handel, Mendelssohn, Pachelbel, Brahms, Corelli, Luther, and many others.  Sunday, December 14, 4 p.m. Tickets ($15) can be purchased in advance in the Church Office or online here, or pay at the door.

Every child is invited to be in our famous “paper bag” pageant.  Pick out your costume from the paper bags at the church entrance. This very family-friendly service lasts one hour or less
