COFFEE HOUR MINISTRY
Coffee Hour Hosts bring and set out refreshments, make sure the table is stocked, and tidy up afterwards. Slots are open for the early team or the late team. Bakers are also welcome to bring additional items. The duty is light (15 to 30 minutes per shift) and the rewards are great! Sign-up sheets are in the Parish Hall or contact Betsie Danner via email
or at 941-349-5616 x318.
EVENING PRAYER & POTLUCK
Evening Prayer meets Wednesdays from 5:30-6:00 p.m., October-April, in the Sanctuary Chapel. Summer Evening Prayer with a potluck dinner, May-September, meets at 5:30 p.m. in Parish Hall and affords a perfect opportunity for heartfelt fellowship, sharing and growing together in Christ. Evening Prayer, time-honored in the Anglican Communion, the Episcopal Church and St. Boniface, convenes worshipers weekly to be led and participate in a quiet, late-day schedule service taken from the Book of Common Prayer, of scriptural lessons, affirmations of faith, prayers and restoration for the new day at hand. Evening Prayer is lay-led, and all parishioners and the public are welcome to attend, drawn together by a common desire to seek peace and renewed purpose through commune with God, Christ, Spirit and one another. Worshipers readily find Evening Prayer an intentional oasis of calm wherein that still, small voice can be listened for and heard, to be integral to their faith journey, personal and corporate.
