Church School Mission

Welcome to the Saint Boniface Church School program, staffed by “The Church School Team,” a dedicated group of volunteers.  Our goal is to engage your children in a nurturing environment of Christian Formation filled with a creative approach and hands-on activities.

Church School at Saint Boniface
Each Sunday the children come together and experience the Bible stories and lessons by having them presented in positive ways that encourage discussion and looking beyond themselves.  We want your children to feel that church is a place they want to be.  Please help us by making Saint Boniface a priority in your lives.

Happening Days take place the first Sunday of every month from 9:00-10:30 am December to April.  Each month we gather as an inter-generational group and begin with a participatory Eucharistic service, break into groups for rotating activities, and come together again as one group to end with a special snack.  This is our opportunity to spend more time with your children.

Gathering Days take place the second through last Sundays of every month at 10:00 from September to the Sunday before Advent and at 9:00 from the first Sunday of Advent through Easter. Children age three through grade five meet in classrooms according to age levels during the church service time.  The various curriculums used and the planned activities are age appropriate for each of these groups. We all go to church for Communion on Gathering Days.

Summer Church School takes place every Sunday (except for special days noted) at 10:00 am during May, June, and August.  We meet as an inter-generational group and go into church for Communion.  Church School takes a break for the month of July.

Nursery
We offer childcare for infants/toddler's/2's every Sunday from 9:00-11:30 (first Sunday after Easter to last Sunday before Advent) and 8:30-12:00 (first Sunday in Advent-Easter) in Room A which is one of our preschool rooms located across from the Boniface Community Center.  This service is provided by our paid, professional caregiver, Ms. Kat Wors, who is a teacher with our preschool.  Room A is a safe, age-appropriate space, and pagers are also available for parents to take into church.
February Events
February 26 - We return to our regular schedule of Church School at 9:00 with children in classrooms.  We all go into church for Communion.

March 9 is our next Family Friday Potluck at 6:30 in Parish Hall.  Bring a dish to share to this casual evening of fellowship.  Sign-up is at coffee hour in Parish Hall.
