FELLOWSHIP

From one-time only to on-going activities, our opportunities for healing and fellowship offer something for every parishioner, seeking to exercise their ministry as a Christian. See the ministries and groups below. For personal contact information, consult your parish directory.

BRIDGE GROUP
The Bridge Group welcomes all levels of players to meet on Thursdays for lessons and play. They meet seasonally in the Saint Boniface Parish Hall at 2:00 for lessons, and at 2:30 for play. A $2 donation is suggested to cover costs; a text book is available for those interested for the nominal fee of $5. For more information contact Winafred Schoeffler or email the church office.

FAMILY FRIDAYS
These potluck gatherings are geared to families with young children. They are held in the Parish Hall at 6:30pm on the second Friday of each month during the school year. Sign up at Coffee Hour on Sundays or contact JoAnn McManus.

FOYERS
Foyers offers a relaxed opportunity for adult parishioners to get acquainted over a simple meal in each others’ homes. Foyers meet in groups of six to eight four times during the year. Twice a year all Foyers Groups come together for a combined activity. Foyers welcomes singles and couples, young and old, gourmet and meat-n-tater lovers – anyone who enjoys good fun, food and fellowship. Groups form in the fall for the coming year. Contact Peg Davant or Linda Pendray.

GREETERS
If you enjoy making new friends, this hospitality ministry is for you. Greeters work in rotation, one Sunday a month, by the door of the church before and after the services. They greet and welcome visitors, newcomers and fellow parishioners at Saint Boniface, and help them feel comfortable while worshiping with us. They invite people to Coffee Hour or other parish activities. For more information contact Peg Davant.

HOSPITALITY
Hospitality takes place in many ways at St. Boniface, and we are strengthened by our many fellowship activities like Coffee Hour each Sunday morning, our Wonderful Wednesdays and Summer Suppers. Volunteers step forward with baked goods, to pour drinks or give a cheery hello to a new face. If you enjoy meeting and greeting other parishioners or baking treats, contact Carolyn Walker at (941) 349-5616 x316 or email.

KNITTING GROUP
This group meets weekly on Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m. for crafting and fellowship, knitting prayer shawls, baby blankets and chemo caps, all donated to local organizations.  Contact Melliss Swenson for more information.

MEN OF BONIFACE

Watch the newsletter, bulletins and website for announcements. All men of Saint Boniface are welcome.   Contact Matthew Smith for information.

WATERCOLOR GROUP
This self-critiquing group meets from 9:00 - 12:00 (or longer if the spirit so moves the group!) on Thursdays on the Saint Boniface campus. Open to all levels of water colorists. For more information, including supplies list, contact Jess Miller.
